Esprit Fléchier - Œuvres de Messire Esprit Fléchier – Tome I - 1762

Copy in an old calfskin binding, richly gilt on the spine and adorned on the boards with gilded armorials attributed to the Montcalm-Gozon family, accompanied by the motto « DRACONIS EXTINCTOR ». There is an old handwritten annotation on the flyleaf: « Tome I / Vie du Cardinal Commendon ». The binding shows rubbing and signs of wear; the interior presents a few foxing and age-related traces. The paper also bears old watermarks, visible on several leaves.
