The works are shipped from the artist based in the United States to our logistics platform in France, which handles import and customs clearance, before returning them individually to our collectors without any constraint. The transport cost includes all fees from the United States to your home.

Karl Lagasse, a renowned artist, gained notoriety in 2009 with his One Dollar sculptures, ranking among the ten best sculptors under 30 according to Artprice that same year. In 2012, the New York publication Farameh named him one of the fifty best contemporary artists, inspired by traditional American icons, in its book FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art. More recently, in 2016, at the Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the French Republic warmly congratulated Karl for his impressive 2-meter bronze sculpture One Dollar exhibited at the Grand Palais.

Karl’s artistic journey began at age 7 with collage, spurred by his meeting with sculptor César Baldaccini. He then turned to tagging and graffiti in the Paris metro while remaining passionate about collages. The artist Yvaral Vasarely encouraged him to fuse his tags with his collages. In 2003, Karl prepared his first exhibition in Paris, which led to his first solo show in 2006 at Galerie Isy Brachot in Brussels. In 2008, he Returned to Paris with an exhibition combining paintings, sculptures, and video elements at Espace Pierre Cardin.

Karl particularly enjoys unveiling his works during international exhibitions. In 2011, he was represented by Bel Air Fine Art Gallery at the Art Monaco fair with his Cryptogram One. The following year, he presented his One Dollar works on the theme “In God We Trust” at Artco France Gallery. His solo show in 2016 at Atrium Gallery in Marbella, Spain, was inaugurated by the mayor, who praised his works to the international press.

2026: – Finalization of the work One Dollar Green Bronze 8 meters tall, 7 tons. The largest One Dollar sculpture in the world created by the artist.

2025: – Installation of the monumental Reflection of the Sun. Installed near the brand-new Pavillon des Bains, on the Promenade Michel d’Ornano, inaugurated by Mayor Philippe Augier on September 8.

2024: – Art Miami - Group exhibitions Galerie Nicolas Auvray New York. For the occasion, a bronze Cryptogram 1.8 meters and a 2-meter One Dollar were exhibited during the event.
- 50th anniversary of the Deauville American Film Festival; for the occasion, the artist created 18 bronze trophies as well as a 2-meter sculpture to be installed at CID. The artists interviewed about the artist and who received the trophy include: Michael Douglas, Daisy Ridley, Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams, Mikey Madison, etc.

2023: – Aspen Saint Regis: Installation of the 2-meter One Dollar in front of the St Regis. The Aspen Times covered the event in a dedicated article.
– Rapper Rick Ross posed with a special St Regis edition One Dollar.

2022: – New York: Times Square NY City, projection on Nasdaq screen of the work “A One Dollar in the Cyberspace City.”

2019: – Deauville American Film Festival: the artist created a new sculpture, representing his dollar engraved in aluminum.

2018: – Creation of a new sculpture for the Deauville American Film Festival trophy; among the artists who received the artist’s trophy sculpture are: Morgan Freeman, Sarah Jessica Parker, Elle Fanning, Jason Clarke and many others...

2017: – Karl Lagasse succeeds the prestigious Cartier House in creating the Deauville American Film Festival trophies.

2016: – Art Fair Paris at Grand Palais
– A “One Dollar” two meters tall, entirely bronze, was exhibited at the Art Paris fair.
– The French president visited the exhibition and personally congratulated the artist for his work.
– First in Spain at Atrium Gallery Marbella, solo exhibition with new collections in the presence of the international press and the mayor of the city, Jose Bernal Gutierrez. Special performance by his wife, opera singer Cherise Lagasse, who performed pieces from her repertoire.

2015: – Second collaboration with Maserati with the creation of a monumental installation entitled “A Piece of Heaven on Earth.” This work features a Maserati draped in a white plastic film and a sculpture of Jesus Christ. Around the car, several sculptures depicting one-dollar bills are placed on the ground, symbolizing the repayment of humanity’s greatest debt.

2014: – Maserati unveils worldwide the Maserati Ghibli reimagined by artist Karl Lagasse on the occasion of the brand’s 100th anniversary.
– Solo exhibition at the Italian Embassy in Paris. The Italian ambassador in France organized a dinner in his presence, around the artist’s works.

2013: – Collective exhibition Automobile Club de France, Place de la Concorde, Paris.

2012: – Karl donated to the city of Deauville a bronze Cryptogram One sculpture, which remains permanently at the city’s entrance.
– For the 65th Cannes Film Festival anniversary, Karl created a sculpture “Building” composed of a collage of photos tracing the festival’s major moments.
