Igor Dvorski - Vigilis

Vigilis is an imagined guardian whose form suggests awareness, patience, and quiet vigilance.
Rather than illustrating a specific myth, it draws on archetypal forms that feel both ancient and timeless.
The asymmetrical composition and elongated silhouette give the figure a calm but unmistakable presence.
It is intended to feel both familiar and elusive, as though it belongs to a memory that cannot quite be placed.
The title, derived from the Latin for "the watchful," reflects its silent, attentive presence.
I use a novel technique of 3d printed metal, bronze in this case, carefully hand refined and naturally patinated.
