The Bugatti Myth on the Wrist: History and Design. I present at auction a rare and fascinating vintage Bugatti timepiece, the "Ellipse / Driver" line, a quartz movement model sold mainly around the late 1980s to early 1990s.

This iconic piece belongs to the famous exclusive series of celebratory pieces released in conjunction with the renaissance of the historic car brand and the legendary debut of the Bugatti EB110 supercar. The watch design is a continuous homage to the motor world of the era: the oval/elliptical stainless steel case is adorned with a gorgeous bi-color bezel with gold-plated screw heads, while the spectacular integrated steel bracelet, satin and shiny, explicitly evokes the links and geometry of a high-performance timing chain like the original.

Dial: Ivory/white background with black Arabic numerals and a date window at 6 o'clock. At 12 o'clock sits the legendary and unmistakable red oval Bugatti emblem. Case and Bracelet: Solid stainless steel with yellow gold-plated finishes and details (Bi-Color Style). Origin: Inscription "France" on the dial back, indicating refined manufacture and assembly of the case and components.

The watch presents itself in good vintage condition and is perfectly functional in all its components, keeping accurate time and date change. When taken off the wrist, it reveals itself as an exceptional collectible piece with strong aesthetic impact.

For maximum commercial transparency to bidders, note a few very small and physiological vintage-era characteristics (clearly visible in the photo gallery): Upon close inspection, the dial shows some extremely light and natural signs of wear. This is a common feature on light-colored dials of this vintage series, which does not impair legibility or decorative appeal, but confirms its absolute original vintage status. The bracelet has a two-piece safety clasp. It should be noted that, rarely, one side may open if not pressed firmly; in any case, I recommend a very small and simple millimeter-tightening of the clip by a watchmaker to restore original tension. The watch comes with an elegant and sturdy wooden protective box. For accuracy, I should note that I am not an expert and, having inherited it, I cannot be certain that the Bugatti box is original and contemporaneous to the watch, but it is provided as an excellent and valuable protective case for the lot.

Additionally, regarding the case diameter, I used a ruler and recorded 30 mm.
