Title: Pop Art Rocket
Technique: Hand painting, mixed media using tinted and transparent acrylic glass and acrylic mirrors
Edition: Unique (1/1) – work realized in a single copy
Curatorial description
Pop Art Rocket is a dynamic sculptural-painterly object by Patrycja Mroczkowska, drawing abundantly from the aesthetics of classic comics, urban culture, and American pop art.
The work was 100% hand-painted, and with the precision of outlines, halftone gradients, and saturated colors, it gains exceptional artisanal and collectible value. The composition pulses with energy: exploding speech bubbles with slogans (BANG, COOL!, GOOD LUCK!, BYE-BYE), the contrast of black bold lines, and flames at the engine outlet create a narrative full of humor, retro-futurism, and uncompromising expression.
The object's distinctive character is built through an innovative pairing of traditional painting with modern synthetic materials:
A mirrored porthole and reflective accents: Acrylic mirrors bring a play of light into the rocket’s interior, drawing the surroundings and the viewer into the work’s space.
Transparent rudder: The central rudder made of crystal-clear, colorless acrylic glass creates an illusion of three-dimensionality. Thanks to the material’s perfect transparency, it does not disturb the painting composition, giving a spectacular, light spatial effect that changes with the viewing angle and lighting.
The work was created as an absolute unique piece (1/1) – there are no other variants or multiplications of this project, making the object a standout proposition for discerning collectors of contemporary art and pop art.

Insured package.
