Manuela Sangiorgio's Sfumature di quiete, an oil on canvas maritime landscape in blue, turquoise and white, 60 × 80 cm, original edition, signed, produced in Italy and sold directly by the artist.
Description from the seller
Sangiorgio Manuela presents 'infinite turquoise', oil on canvas, an original work from 2026, 60x80, hand-signed, in excellent condition, produced in Italy and offered directly by the artist, without a frame and ready to be hung because it has a painted depth of 2 cm.
The painting presents itself as a evocative aerial view. On the left side of the canvas the waters darken to a deep, profound blue, shifting progressively toward the opposite side, the palette changes: the blue softens into a vivid azure, until it transforms into a crystalline and bright turquoise. It is precisely in this lighter area that the surface of the water lights up with glints and reflections of light. Resting on this liquid expanse are three small boats whose diminutive scale emphasizes the vastness of the sea, imparting a deep sense of calm, isolation, and silence.
Sangiorgio Manuela develops a painting practice centered on reinterpretation of landscapes, city views, and figurative scenes through a visual language based on color and the construction of atmospheres.
Sangiorgio Manuela, born in Monza in 1976, is a figurative painter specializing in figurative oil portraiture. She graduates from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan and soon after begins a solid collaboration with historic Venetian art workshops.
