Elegant service consisting of three large serving utensils in 800/1000 silver, of Italian manufacture, characterized by a rich decorative treatment in a classical taste.
The set includes a large serving spoon, a serving fork, and a slotted spoon/serving scoop. The three elements feature a refined coordinated ornament: handles with an oval medallion, an embossed ornamental frame, and vegetal and scroll motifs, also echoed in the upper part of the handles.
The utensils bear the hallmark of the 800 fineness and the identifying mark “1 BO,” relating to the silver production of the Bologna province, manufacturer: Mantel e Clementi. Also present is the maker’s mark M–[symbol]–C.
