Traditional Moroccan trumpet called "Nafir" - Brass engraved - 3 parts
Long traditional Moroccan straight trumpet called "Nafir", made of coppery/brass alloy. Instrument composed of 3 detachable elements, that fit into one another. Long, slightly conical tubular body, ending in a wide bell richly decorated. The bell features engravings with geometric and vegetal motifs, with ornamental friezes. Presence of several lateral rings for hanging or securing on the different elements. The instrument shows a beautiful old patina and signs of use consistent with its artisanal character, used in Morocco in ceremonial contexts and during the call to Ramadan.
