AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

--- History of the work ---

It turns its back on us.

We know neither its gaze nor its expression. Yet, its story seems already inscribed on it.

Sitting in a calm, almost meditative posture, this woman appears in an environment of great purity. Her ivory silhouette stands out from the light background while her body is gradually overtaken by a cobalt blue garden of flowers.

The peonies and the foliage do not seem merely laid on her skin. They appear to be part of it.

From the face to the shoulders, along the spine and then on the legs, the décor unfolds like a hand-painted Chinese porcelain. The human body thus becomes symbolically an object of transmission, a surface on which time would have preserved a history.

A white flower adorns her hair, deep blue. Around her, the vegetation reclaims the same tones as the motifs that cover her body, as if the boundary between the woman and the garden was gradually disappearing.

In Asian artistic tradition, flowers are never merely decorative. They accompany the seasons, evoke the passage of time, the ephemeral beauty and renewal.

Here, they also become memory.

Each flower could represent a memory. Each branch, a meeting. Each motif, something one thought had been forgotten.

The woman does not look at what she leaves behind.

She carries it.

The Memory She Carries thus evokes this invisible part of each of us: the experiences, the people and the memories that eventually participate in what we are.

A deliberately silent and contemplative work, in which porcelain is no longer just an aesthetic reference but becomes the symbolic receptacle of a life and its memory.

--- Technique and creation process ---

This work originates from an original digital painting, notably using Photoshop and Krita.

The artistic creation rests on digital work of composition, colors, textures, light and details allowing the character and its universe to be progressively constructed.

Once the creation is finalized, an artificial intelligence tool may intervene only in a technical phase to improve image definition, notably to increase its resolution and reduce pixelation before its transfer to the physical support.

Artificial intelligence is also used as a writing-assistance tool to structure and develop the detailed description accompanying the presentation of the work in this submission.

The final work is produced as an artistic print on canvas, mounted on a wooden frame and ready to be exhibited.

---About PorcelainMuse---

PorcelainMuse was born from a fascination with the fragile beauty of Asian porcelain and with the stories that objects can tell as they travel through time.

Cobalt blue, porcelain white, floral motifs, feminine figures, warriors, Asian landscapes and cracks inspired by Kintsugi progressively form the visual language of the collection.

In this universe, porcelain goes beyond its decorative function. It becomes a metaphor for the human being: precious but fragile, capable of fissuring yet able to retain its beauty despite the traces of time.

Each creation thus seeks to establish a dialogue between the aesthetic heritage of Chinese porcelain and a contemporary artistic writing. Traditional motifs are reinterpreted in current compositions where characters, flowers, materials and symbols tell a new story.

Behind each face, PorcelainMuse holds universal themes: memory, femininity, strength, transmission, fragility and reconstruction.

PorcelainMuse's ambition is to create works that are not chosen solely for their aesthetics, but for the emotion and the story to which they connect us.

---Commitment to the collector---

Each work receives special care before shipment and is prepared with care to ensure its protection during transport.

The satisfaction of the collector is a fundamental commitment of PorcelainMuse. Any questions regarding the work, its edition, its certificate or its reception are followed up with careful attention.

This creation belongs to a limited edition of only 25 copies, in order to preserve the confidential nature of the collection.
