Description from the seller
Marvelous Girl Series
Limited prints to 8 copies + 4 EA (artist proofs) - Aluminum support (printed on white vinyl mounted on 2 aluminum plates, back binding, and a soft UV- and humidity-resistant front laminate). Certificate of authenticity
F2B pursued brilliant studies at the École Supérieure des Arts appliqués Duperré in Paris. Art Director, then Creative Director in an agency, F2B finds all his inspiration in brand identity. Freed in his art from any advertising constraints, F2B enjoys associating with and reappropriating logotypes, icons and other mainstream emblems.
Two fundamental elements will guide his creations: the use of the female body in advertising to sell, and the power that logotypes take on in our urban environment. Through this association of ideas, he creates the “BrandBabes,” a kind of Pin-Up in which logos dress the bodies of women. With the series “Marvelous Girl,” this time it is the “Superheroes” who envelop the female silhouettes, thus creating new heroines.
