“Mystery Cube V.1 & Mystery Cube V.2” is a lot composed of two luminous works dedicated to one of the most recognizable symbols of gaming culture: the famous Question Block.
The first version, Mystery Cube V.1, presents the block in its iconic yellow variant, while Mystery Cube V.2 reinterprets it in red. Two different colors, two distinct visual energies, but the same meaning: surprise, possibility, play, and discovery.
The central question mark, built in pixel art style, becomes the true protagonist of the composition. The LED profile follows the edges of each block and amplifies its presence, transforming two simple videogame symbols into bright pop-impact objects.
Technique and Creation:
The works are made on a 1 cm Forex support, with a high-definition image and a transparent resin coating, protective and scratch-resistant on the front.
In Mystery Cube V.1, the yellow Neon LED effect highlights the block profile and creates a warm, bright, and immediately recognizable glow.
In Mystery Cube V.2, the red LED gives the composition a more intense and decisive character, creating a particularly scenographic contrast with the light background.
