An experimental mixed-fermentation Saison produced by Brussels Beer Project, Brussels, Belgium.
This distinctive beer is a blend of barrel-aged 2-year-old Saison and young Saison, both fermented with a mixed culture of yeast and bacteria. Before bottling, the beer underwent one week of maceration with 10 kg of fresh basil, harvested from the BIGH aquaponic rooftop farm in Brussels.
Details: 75 cl per bottle, 6.5% ABV. Bottling date: April 2022. Best before: April 2024. The label states “Dynamic evolution in the bottle”, characteristic of this type of mixed-fermentation beer.
The bottles are unopened and still sealed with their original crown caps. Labels and bottles show very good overall visual condition; please examine the photographs carefully for the exact condition.
An unusual large-format Belgian craft beer release, particularly interesting for enthusiasts of mixed fermentation, barrel-aged Saison and Brussels Beer Project.
