Chinese small heart-shaped storage cream-white nephrite jade –China- 21th Century
On offer is a Chinese small heart-shaped storage box made of cream-white nephrite jade. This small relief carved box is suitable for storing small pills or jewelry or other valuable small objects. It has excellent quality carvings on the outside, fully in the Chinese taste. Both upper- and lower parts fit perfectly into each other what reflects the quality craftsmanship of making this small box. Even the inside of the little box is beautifully crafted down to the smallest detail! Creamy white nephrite jade box with excellent carving at the in-and outside and thinly made, therefore very rare! Hard to find!
Has been identified as nephrite jade by measuring thermal conductivity and hardness and translucency. Also checked with UV light; which indicates a natural color. Provenance: This jade comes from inland China. A high-end quality jade, suitable as an addition to your high-end collection or to present as a gift! This is a rare open piece!
