AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

"Time will tell us" / "L'avenir nous le dira"

Description:
The Tower of Babel was realized by Pieter Brueghel around 1563.

This work represents a modern reinterpretation of the Tower of Babel, merging elements of industrialization with warnings about its environmental consequences. The tower, an emblematic structure of ancient Babylon, is here integrated with cranes, trucks, and other industrial equipment. Modern elements such as an airplane, a cruise ship, nuclear power plants and factory smokestacks spewing smoke blend into the landscape. The details reveal the negative impacts of industrialization on nature, with signs of deforestation and pollution. In the background, the presence of nuclear reactors and smoky cities recalls potential natural and industrial disasters. This fusion of the old and the modern underscores the warning about ecological dangers tied to excessive industrialization.

Teejo is a contemporary French artist. He modernizes old works by great masters by reinventing them with his own vision. He also creates new original works blending poetry, satire, prevention and imagination, transmitting many messages through his creations. These works are sold worldwide.

He creates his pieces using digital tools and enjoys mixing and revisiting techniques to obtain the best possible result.
