Three-piece Satsuma porcelain set from Japan, dating to 1950–1960, in good used condition with small signs of age and stains, featuring hand-painted polychrome decorations with gold detailing, including a 23 cm decorative plate, a 17 cm tall vase, and a 14 cm tall lidded vase.
Description from the seller
A splendid and refined display-ready coordinated set in fine porcelain, crafted in the distinctive Satsuma style.
The lot consists of three finely decorated pieces, ideal for collectors and lovers of Oriental art or to adorn classy interiors.
The set is distinguished by the typical ivory glaze with a refined craquelé finish (many small cracks in the glaze), on which hand-painted polychrome decorations stand out.
The decorations are rich and detailed, executed with relief enamels and enriched with generous finishes in real gold. They depict traditional scenes with human figures, natural elements, and complex geometric and floral motifs, typical of Satsuma iconography.
The pieces bear on the base several marks and seals attesting to their origin and artisanal craftsmanship:
A red geometric seal
The "LAMART" mark with the inscriptions "Hand Painted Satsuma" and "Fine Porcelain" in gold, topped by a blue seal with oriental characters.
The "MODELIA" mark in red with a stylized logo and a large square seal with oriental characters.
Dimensions of the Pieces:
Decorative plate: Diameter 23 cm. It features a rich central scene and a decorated rim.
Large vase: Height 17 cm x Maximum width 14 cm. Classic baluster shape with wide painted scenes.
Lidded vase (Koro): Total height 14 cm x Maximum width 13 cm. The lid is topped by a molded knop.
The lot is preserved in excellent condition, with no noticeable chips or cracks, and the gold and colors remain vivid (please view the detailed photos carefully).
An unmissable opportunity to acquire a complete set with a striking visual impact.
Tracked shipping and professional packaging guaranteed.
