A striking French Art Deco ceramic vase by Digoin, dating from circa 1920. Its elegant elongated form, warm ochre-yellow glaze and bold stylised floral decoration create a distinctive decorative piece representative of early 20th-century French ceramics.

Origin & period: Made in Digoin, France, circa 1920, during the early Art Deco period.
Authenticity: The underside bears the impressed “DIGOIN” factory mark together with the model/reference number 120, visible in the photographs.
Design: Decorated with large stylised roses and floral motifs in brown and black, framed by contrasting dark horizontal bands. The shaped shoulder and narrow opening enhance its elegant architectural silhouette.
Materials & craftsmanship: Glazed ceramic with stencil-style floral decoration. The surface displays attractive fine craquelure developed with age.
