BIOGRAPHY
I was born in Cádiz and currently reside and work in Barcelona. I am a painter, and my work mainly focuses on landscape, understood as a space for pictorial exploration where I investigate atmosphere, matter, and the perception of the environment. I graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona, where I later completed a master’s degree and earned a Cum Laude doctorate, developing a training that combines artistic practice with theoretical research. My pictorial work develops mainly through oil painting, a medium with which I explore the construction of landscape from a contemporary perspective, focusing on the relationship between nature, memory, and visual experience. Throughout my career I have participated in solo and group exhibitions at national and international levels. My practice centers on landscape as a field of pictorial inquiry, where painting becomes a way of thinking and experiencing the territory through matter and color.
