Description from the seller
Leriovanas(Nasini Valerio) is a multidisciplinary artist who works with heterogeneous materials such as leather, terracotta, plaster, paper, plastic, cords and natural elements.
His research focuses on the relationship between matter, identity and memory, giving rise to three-dimensional works with a strong symbolic and emotional impact. Through tactile surfaces, stitches and overlays, the artist transforms matter into a language capable of telling fragility, silences and resilience.
ARTISTIC STATEMENT
My artistic practice stems from the need to transform emotions, memories and inner tensions into visible matter. I work with materials such as leather, plaster, clay, paper, plastic and natural elements, choosing them for their ability to evoke fragility, resilience, wounds and transformation.
Through masks, material objects and three-dimensional paintings, I explore themes related to silence, repression, identity and the body. Matter becomes a language: it is molded, sewn, intertwined, broken or reassembled to give form to what often remains hidden or unspoken.
CERTIFIED WORK; UNIQUE PIECE;
The rough surfaces, the manual marks, the folds and the assemblages tell a tension between vulnerability and strength. Each work is born as a physical presence, almost an emotional trace, capable of preserving memory, pain and the possibility of rebirth.
