Seiko Type II Quartz 4336-8030 – graduated brown-to-silver dial, day/date, stainless steel cushion case, 1978, battery replaced. PLEASE NOTE: the watch is fitted with an aftermarket stainless steel mesh bracelet (buckle stamped BAMBI, not Seiko), the crystal shows fine hairline scratches, and there are small brown spots where the mesh meets the case at the 12 o'clock lugs. Overview
A vintage Seiko Type II quartz from 1978, with a graduated dial that shades from brown at 12 o'clock to silver at 6 o'clock over a fine vertical brushed texture. Applied faceted silver baton indices, gold-tone faceted baton hands and a gold-framed day/date window at 3 o'clock. The dial is signed SEIKO / QUARTZ with the SQ emblem and TYPE II. Stainless steel cushion case with brushed top surfaces and polished bevels, crown at 3 o'clock and a solid snap-on caseback. Fitted with a stainless steel Milanese mesh bracelet with a tang buckle.

Condition
Used vintage watch with visible signs of wear. Case: numerous fine hairline scratches on the brushed surfaces, a small nick on the polished bezel ring around 11–12 o'clock and small dings along the bezel edge near 4–5 o'clock, scuffs on the polished flanks; no deep gouges. Crystal: several fine hairline scratches, most visible over the upper half of the dial under angled light; no chips or cracks. Dial: no spots or staining; a slight yellowish tint next to the applied indices at 3 and 6 o'clock and slightly dulled gold on the SEIKO logo. The gold-tone day/date frame shows wear on its top edge. Hands clean. Caseback: light scratches only, engraving crisp. Bracelet: light scratches on the buckle and keeper, a slight wave in the mesh along the tail section, and small brown spots (light surface corrosion or trapped dirt) where the mesh meets the case at the 12 o'clock lugs. Working order
The battery has been replaced and the watch is running. Timekeeping accuracy has not been measured with professional equipment, and the original water resistance should not be relied upon on a watch of this age. Please consider this a vintage watch that may require servicing at some point.
