Dom Pérignon Millésime – Bacchante Reimagined | Slasky

In quest’opera Slasky reinterprets the famous “Baccante” by Malkov, blending it with the iconic Dom Pérignon Rosé Millésime label. The language of academic painting dialogues with one of the most recognizable symbols of contemporary luxury, transforming an allegorical figure dedicated to wine and celebration into an image that reflects desire, prestige, and the value attributed to iconic objects.

The bacchante, traditionally tied to Bacchus’ rituals, raises a bottle of champagne instead of the usual classical attribute, while the monumental label background replaces the original pictorial setting. The result is a short circuit between art history, branding, and collector culture.

The work is part of Slasky’s artistic research, which explores the transformation of consumption symbols into new contemporary relics through compositions with strong visual and museological impact.
