Poster of the famous W.H. Wilkie’s Great Continental Circus, used to advertise the show on June 26, 1956 in Schweizer Reneke (South Africa).
Note: This is a later edition probably from the 1970s.
The poster features a powerful graphic illustration of a Bengal tiger and announces the performance of Capt. Benes with his Royal Bengal Tigers.
The poster was drawn by Pacer, active in the 1950s in the production of South African circus posters. The style, the typefaces, and the flat colors are typical of advertising graphics of the era.
It will be shipped in a rigid tube with professional packaging and tracking DHL/GLS/FEDEX
Condition: good, light signs of aging consistent with the item's age (see photo), ready for framing or display.
