Ottorino Campagnari was born in Mestre (VE), on April 2, 1910. He died in Turin in 1982.

He studied painting at the art school of Mestre under Prof. Giuseppe Urbani.

Settling in Turin in 1935, he exhibited regularly from 1940 at the National Art Quadriennials of the Promotrice Belle Arti of Turin, at the Artistic Cultural Circle Gazzetta del Popolo, and at the Turin Artists’ Circle.

He exhibited in group shows both in Italy and abroad—in Washington (Veerhoff Galleries), Chicago (Creative Arts Galleries, Alitalia), London (Coen), in Naples, Turin, Milan, Rome, etc.

He held solo exhibitions in Turin (Galleries Martina and Fogliato), Imperia, Milan (Galleria Bolzani), the Aosta Valley, at Palazzo Municipio in Gressoney - St. Jean, at the Christensen in Canada, etc.

He received prizes in competitions and spontaneous exhibitions.
