Description from the seller
This vanity dressing table set made of blown and cut glass or crystal features three bottles of decreasing sizes with their original stoppers alongside a circular powder box. This Valambert model, manufactured by the famous Val Saint Lambert factory around the year 1913, stands out with a sophisticated geometric pattern combining a central band of raised diamond points with wide flat ribs. The aesthetic is enhanced by significant cut-work highlighted with a bright amber yellow overlay on the upper portion of each piece, while the base remains clear. This set does not bear any visible manufacturer's signature or marking. The box has a height of 5 cm and a diameter of 7.5 cm, with an individual weight of 350 g. The largest bottle has a height of 16 cm including its stopper and a diameter of 6 cm, with a weight of 480 g, and features a stopper engraved with the number 967. The medium-sized bottle measures a height of 14.5 cm for a diameter of 5.4 cm, weighs 350 g, and has a stopper engraved with the number 109. The smallest bottle features a height of 13 cm and a diameter of 3.5 cm, with a weight of 250 g, and its stopper is engraved with the number 279. The total weight of the set is 1430 g. The entire set is in good overall condition. For a precise condition report, minor superficial white traces are present inside the largest and smallest bottles, a chip is noted on the lower section of the smallest stopper that fits inside the neck, and small flea bites are located on the matching insertion area of the medium bottle stopper. These signs of wear remain hidden when the bottles are closed.
