Description from the seller

Patty Pravo, 1966 (006)

Considered one of the most iconic figures of Italian song in the second half of the twentieth century, Patty Pravo has navigated decades of music with ease, continually reinventing her style and image. From her beginnings as a beat exponent, she established herself as a refined interpreter of Italian and French song, and then fearlessly experimented with the sounds of pop rock in all its nuances. Biafra (1976), one of her most innovative works, was among the first Italian albums to include funky and new wave influences. Among her most famous songs are La bambola (1968), Pazza idea (1973), Pensiero stupendo (1978) and ...e dimmi che non vuoi morire (1997), true classics of Italian music. She participated in the Sanremo Music Festival ten times, reaching the final nine times and winning four Critics’ Awards, the last of which in 2016 with Cieli immensi.
