Centrepiece (2) - Crystal - Bohemian Baskets

The decorative set consists of two Bohemian crystal basket vases with handles of different sizes, one in clear crystal and the other in cobalt blue cased crystal. Each piece is distinguished by a particularly rich and geometrically deep-cut decoration. The large colorless basket features an alternating pattern of star rosettes, complex diamond-point motifs, and broad smooth bevels that structure the handle and the rounded body. The small cobalt blue basket uses a casing technique where the upper colored layer is cut away to reveal the clear crystal underneath, forming a pattern of stars and dynamic facets. This set bears no visible manufacturer’s signature or mark. The large clear crystal basket stands about 18 cm high, about 20 cm long, and about 15 cm deep, with an individual weight of 1700 g. The cobalt blue crystal miniature measures 10 cm in height, about 9.5 cm long, and about 8 cm deep, with a weight of 250 g. The total weight of this set is 1950 g. Both pieces are in very good overall condition. There are light, normal signs of wear consistent with age under the bases, while the brilliance and clarity of the crystal remain perfectly preserved across both items.
