Condition: fair - original binding (backstrip loose and missing on the upper and lower edges piece of leather, front board loose) with complete authentic fittings and well-closing clasps; generally neat, clean and fresh pages! (first two pages loose and ragged, maps and engravings damaged/ ragged/ smaller and loose in block (see photo); several quires with typical browning and moisture stains in the lower margin, a stray spot: s.w.a.f.). Textually complete.

Very rare edition of the Statenbijbel. This edition results from a special collaboration of printers 'wid. G. de Groot, Jan van Heekeren, Isaac van der Putte, Anthony van Hasebroek, Bastiaan Beaumont. In compagnie' is rarely offered.
