Pausanias - De Tota Graecia Libri Decem - 1550

Very rare description of ancient Greece, in which Pausanias’s travels are depicted in 10 books.

The pages are overall in very good condition, occasionally there are a few isolated stains.
At the beginning, some pages have small and very unobtrusive worm traces in the margin, but these are outside the text.

The title page as well as the 3 following leaves have in the upper area light, fading stains. The title page also shows another stain in the lower area.

The last leaf of the index is missing.

With a few handwritten marginal notes.

Bound in an 18th‑century half‑leather binding.
This is somewhat rubbed and the upper cap of the spine is slightly damaged.
