Magnificent brooch featuring a fox, vintage and rare, created by the famous French designer Léa Stein in bakelite. Brooch signed «LEA STEIN PARIS».
It is in excellent condition despite the years (from the 1960s). This line was already highly sought-after in the 1960s (information about this brooch can be found in the book Léa Stein Jewelry by Judith Just).
All Léa Stein items are still largely handmade. No two are identical. The various elements of the brooch are assembled by a heat-setting process, which can sometimes leave slight marks or scratches on the back at the fixing points. This is perfectly normal and not a defect.
This brooch is a true collectible piece, emblematic of the refined style of the late 1960s.
