ARTIST BIOGRAPHY:

﻿Antoni Sala Herrero (1927-2012) was a Spanish self-taught painter, specializing in landscapes, marine and port views. From a young age he showed a love for drawing and in 1967 he held his first solo exhibition in Figueres. His work is characterized by luminous, colorful atmospheres, with an impressionist style. He exhibited regularly in venues and galleries in Barcelona and other Catalan towns, and he won important awards such as the Vila de Palamós (1969) and that of the Societé National de Beaux Arts of Paris (1983). His work includes landscapes of the Costa Brava and Mediterranean views, with oils on canvas highly valued in the art market.

﻿Antoni Sala Herrero (1927-2012) fue un pintor español, autodidacta, especializado en paisajes, vistas marinas y portuarias. Desde joven mostró amor por el dibujo y en 1967 realizó su primera exposición personal en Figueres. Su obra se caracteriza por atmósferas luminosas y coloristas, con un estilo impresionista. Expuso regularmente en salas y galerías de Barcelona y otras localidades catalanas, y obtuvo premios importantes como el Vila de Palamós (1969) y el de la Societé National de Beaux Arts de París (1983). Su obra incluye paisajes de la Costa Brava y vistas mediterráneas, con óleos sobre lienzo muy valorados en el mercado del arte.
