Large Castelli Handmade Painted Ceramic Plate – Pastoral Scene Ø 34.5 cm Vintage 1970s

Splendid large wall or display plate in majolica Castelli style (Abruzzo), entirely handcrafted and hand-painted.

Period: Probably the 1970s (Vintage / Castelli Classic Style)

Large dimensions: Diameter 34.5 cm

Marks/Signatures: No signatures or marks on the back, typical of artisanal workshop production of the era.

Decor: Rich, finely detailed bucolic and pastoral scene. It depicts a peasant woman with a lamb and a shepherd walking, framed by a rural landscape with trees, a stone bridge and a fortified village in the background.

Very good condition: Shows normal glaze wear, slight manufacturing defects, visible in photos.
