On this vertical format, Medsan places San, the heroine of Princess Mononoke, standing at the edge of a mossy cliff, tiny in the night. She wears her red and white mask with upright ears, a light fur over her shoulders, a cream tunic and a dark skirt, and she lifts her head toward the sky. Next to her, the wolf Moro stands full-length, paws planted on the rock, snout turned in the same direction.

Above the mountains rises an immense stag, the body blue and violet flecked with stars, the massively branching antlers reaching to the edge of the frame, a clear eye fixed; pale clouds coil around its spine. Below, a deep green pine forest dotted with small orange glimmers stretches out, and lower down to the left a fortified city lets out red smoke. In the upper right, vertical blocks もののけ姫, 夜の森 and 輝夜霊 neighbor with a red seal. The encounter unfolds without a gesture.

Under the name Medsan, he explores the world of medicine and anatomy; under the name Popsan, he revisits pop culture icons by blending pop art, Japanese art, and anachronisms.
