In this square format, Medsan places at the center a Bandai Tamagotchi suspended on a chain of golden beads, detached against a midnight blue background close to black. The oval white shell bears a blue and red decor: swirled clouds and scalloped waves in the upper part, red chrysanthemums, lotus and blue foliage on the sides and bottom. Wide gold lines run across the entire shell, following each fracture; in the upper right a whole panel has detached and two shards still float nearby, also outlined in gold.
The pale green screen occupies the center. A small creature in chunky blue pixels, two round eyes and a mouth line, stands in the middle of lighter wavy bands. Four pictograms border the top of the screen, four more the bottom. Three deep red buttons align under the golden frame, and at the bottom right the cartouche メドサン appears in pale blue. A childhood toy posing as a family heirloom.
