In this square format, Medsan isolates a human eye on a deep black background, almost entirely occupied by the globe turned to the left. The iris, a gray-blue ringed with darkness, opens onto a pupil of an almost black blue from which fine golden lines radiate. The clear sclera is crisscrossed with a network of red veins, and its right half bears a dark blue and red motif: concentric waves, filigrees, chrysanthemums, and fans, held by two blue nets that go around the globe.
Wide golden lines run across the entire surface, following the cracks and linking the fragments together. A few chips are missing along the left edge, revealing a lighter edge. On the right, the optic nerve extends as a dark red cord, also cracked, rejoined by the same golden lines and by blue and white pieces. At the bottom right, the cartouche メドサン, drawn in red. A broken organ, gathered, and still looking.

A sober and striking piece, ideal for adding an anatomical and graphic touch to a contemporary collector of curiosities.

Under the name Medsan, he explores the world of medicine and anatomy; under the name Popsan, he revisits icons of popular culture by blending pop art, Japanese art, and anachronisms. On Catawiki, his pop works still appear under the name Medsan, but they belong to the Popsan universe.
