Italian school (XX) - La Treille, da William-Adolphe Bouguereau

Up for auction, an enchanting oil painting on canvas, a refined period reproduction of the famous masterpiece La Treille (The Pergola), originally created in 1898 by the master of French academic art William-Adolphe Bouguereau (1825–1905). The work gracefully and with extraordinary realism depicts a young girl with a dreamy gaze, as she holds a plate full of black grapes. The chromatic contrasts between the pristine white of the blouse, the deep blue of the skirt, and the warm tones of the sleeves create a strong visual impact, faithful to the classic style of the French master.
The canvas measures 60x50 and the frame measures 79x69
