Binding: Contemporary 18th-century leather binding. Five raised-bands spine with compartments originally decorated in gold; retains the original leather label with the title printed in gold letters.
Endpapers: Period marbled paper pastedowns present at both the beginning and end of the volume (one sheet per part).
Gilding: Red-colored edges.
Condition: Genuine and structurally solid copy, which nevertheless shows widespread signs of aging. There are abrasions and superficial flaking on the boards (typical of leather aging), wear and small losses concentrated near the head and tail of the spine and hinges, with softened corners and the structural cardboard partially exposed.
