DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK
Fascinating and elegant large-format work (66x102 cm) by the Padua-based artist Paolo Camporese, titled Quantum Zoology.
The piece is a vibrant tribute to biomorphic abstract art and lyrical surrealism of Miróian and Kleinian matrix. On a golden, dense and tactile background that evokes a primordial broth or a suspended quantum space, an extraordinary fauna of microorganisms, fantastic insects, and hybrid entities moves.
Each figure is defined with extreme precision and chromatic vivacity: intense tones of red, orange, blue and purple intertwine with black and gray fields, interconnected by an intricate network of graphic filaments that confer exceptional dynamism and compositional rhythm.

Curriculum vitae
Paolo Camporese lives and works in Padua and has for several years devoted himself to sculpture, predominantly using terracotta.
He learned to model in the nineties in his hometown at the workshop of a sculptor, enlarging sculptures by famous authors (F. Léger, S. Dalí).
The use of enamels and engobes he learned at a ceramic laboratory in the town of Este.
