About the artwork:
In his series "Flusso" the artist AVENZANO dedicates himself to movement itself. Long, sweeping brushstrokes traverse the canvas and take on wave-like structures that evoke water, wind, or dunes. Each brushstroke is performed in a single continuous motion — freehand, without preliminary sketch or later correction. The result is a rhythm that feels alive yet never arbitrary: every wave follows its own trace, each work bears the imprint of the moment of its creation. Painted on raw, unprimed cotton canvas, the intrinsic texture of the material remains visible, further amplifying the organic effect of the forms.

About the artist:
AVENZANO is a professional painter. He lives and works in his studio in Germany. Influenced by the elegance of Italian design, the roughness of Brazilian Brutalism, and the clarity of contemporary minimalism, his works are characterized by strong graphic elements and a natural, earthy color palette. His practice is defined as much by what he puts on the canvas as by what he leaves out. Central to his work is the aesthetic concept of Wabi-Sabi: the belief that beauty lies not in perfection, but in imperfection, irregularity, and authenticity.
