Splendid Roman binding in full red morocco leather - plates with acorn tooling on all four sides, double border of pomegranates and flowers - all framed with a wheel roll and gold filet. Inner frame with wheel-tool pattern, wave design, and gold filet - Center with acorn, flowers, and pomegranates tooling, and in the central circle a flower - same flower on the four corners - back with five raised bands, no central flower and small tools at the four corners - all in gold - perfect condition - no restoration work.
