Work linked to the realm of European figurative painting from the late 20th century, with influences from intimate realism and the Post-Impressionist tradition applied to the still life. The visible brushwork, the simplification of volumes, and the emphasis given to lighting effects recall the modern evolution of interior painting and still lifes developed since the late 19th century. The composition also preserves a certain heritage of European domestic still lifes, reinterpreted through a freer and more atmospheric execution.

Intimate, everyday composition that represents a table set for tea time. On a light tray sits a service consisting of a teapot, sugar bowl, creamer, and a cup with saucer, accompanied in the background by a larger metal coffee or teapot.

To the right there is a rectangular wooden box and a trapezoidal-shaped object that introduces a reddish chromatic accent within a predominantly neutral palette. The table, covered by a cloth in ocher, beige, and greenish tones, occupies much of the composition, while the dark background concentrates attention on the porcelain pieces.

The lighting falls especially on the tea service, whose whites and reflections contrast with the bluish-gray background. The brushwork is loose and perceptible, particularly in the treatment of the tablecloth, adding texture and spontaneity to the painted surface. The overall impression is of a silent, domestic atmosphere, close to intimate still life.

The work is presented with a wide, stepped wooden frame in dark brown tones, with an aged-looking finish. Its sober and classic design suitably accompanies the earthy color range of the painting.
