Ruggero Salvatore - Cortocircuito

The work touches on elements of painting tradition with irony, from the gilded background to contemporary pop icons, creating a playful visual short circuit. The pink bubble, in the center of the frame, becomes the symbol of a cheerful and carefree rebellion against academic conventions.

In the last two years I have combined three different shades of realism to generate a completely personal and innovative style, within which the themes of contemporary life merge and blend, sometimes approaching the atmospheres of Metaphysical painting.
My artistic research has been reviewed, in addition to esteemed art critics, by the master and Oscar-winning Federico Fellini. My works are today present in numerous pinacotecas and galleries in Europe, America, China, Japan, and the United Arab Emirates.
Notes on the work:
The canvas is applied to a black panel that serves both as support and as an colorless frame for the piece. The panel, hand-polished and painted black directly by the artist, lends intrinsic elegance to the painting, turning it into a unique work of art and craftsmanship.
The authenticity of the work is guaranteed by the autograph signature placed both on the back of the panel and on the corresponding certificate of authenticity.
