De Pauw Gaby (Gabriël) (1924-2000) - Expressionistisch landschap

A powerful Flemish expressionist landscape by Gaby De Pauw. He trained at the Antwerp Academy under Isidoor Opsomer. Typical of his oeuvre is a clouded sky in greenish ochre above a dark, palette-knife-worked foreground.
The artist is listed in Piron's reference work. Works by him were purchased by the French and Belgian State.
