Pair of salad-serving cutlery in Portuguese silver and gilt metal, with case - circa 1900.

Pair of salad-serving utensils, consisting of a three-toothed spoon and fork. Hollow handles in Portuguese silver, with raised decoration inspired by Neoclassicism, featuring reserves, pearlized elements, vegetal and floral motifs. Functional parts in gilded metal, probably brass or bronze.

Handles contrasted with the Javali mark, corresponding to the Portuguese assay mark used between 1887 and 1937 and compatible with 2nd-grade silver, 833/1000.

Accompanied by the respective period case, externally clad in marbled material in green and cream tones, with interior lined in yellow fabric and blue satin.
