Collection of 14 colored plates taken from the "Familiar garden flowers"
Excellent inking and copperplate printing on heavy paper, beautiful period coloring. Good state of preservation, widespread traces of foxing and browning, visible signs of binding on the left/right of the image as shown in the photo. Shipping insured via Bartolini/DPD courier. To utilize the insurance coverage, any damages to the package must be contested and reported to the courier at the time of delivery. Otherwise, it will not be possible to initiate the insurance reimbursement procedure.
Friedrich Gottlieb Stebler (11 August 1852 in Safnern – 7 April 1935) was a Swiss farmer and ethnographer.
Carl Joseph Schröter (19 December 1855 – 7 February 1939) was a Swiss botanist born in Esslingen am Neckar, Germany.
