Keramis Boch - Vase (2) - Earthenware - Vases Delft BFK

Pair of octagonal earthenware vases from the famous Belgian manufacture Boch Frères Keramis, dating from the 1920s or 1930s, bearing the distinctive BFK painters monogram mark in underglaze blue on the reverse of the base. These pieces from the Art Deco period feature an elegant floral decoration executed in blue monochrome on a white background, embodying the classic traditional Delft style and Chinese influence. The faceted bodies alternate large vertical panels decorated with blooming flowers and finely detailed geometric chequered panels. Each piece is also marked underneath the base with the pattern number 58 and the specific painter's letter K. Regarding the dimensions of these objects, each vase measures 26 cm in height, with a collar diameter of 5.5 cm and a base diameter of 8.5 cm. The individual weight of each ceramic is 750 grams, bringing the total weight of the set to 1500 grams for the pair. The overall condition is good, with the pieces showing a natural network of crazing in the glaze as well as minor signs of age-related wear, including small superficial glaze flakes along the edges and the rim of the foot, testifying to their authenticity and normal handling over the decades.
