Raul da Bernarda - Large urn with lid and handles, “Florence” decoration

Large ceremonial urn in Alcobaça faience, made by Raul da Bernarda, with a faceted body on a circular foot. Floral decoration painted in green tones, with black-stopped reserva tions, raised friezes and voluted wings. Removable lid, campaniform in shape, topped with a knob.

Marked on the back “RB / DEC. FLORENÇA / 1367”, with “Florence” corresponding to the decoration designation and “1367” probably to the model reference. Portuguese work from the second half of the 20th century.

In good condition. Dimensions: 42 × 23 cm.
