Elegant depiction of a standing woman in a classical draped garment, executed in the tradition of Greek and Roman sculpture. The figure wears sandals and is portrayed in a natural, contrapposto pose. Fine detailing of the hair, face, hands and the richly pleated draperies.

The statue is rendered in dark patinated bronze and placed on a pedestal. On the pedestal is the marking "H. LUPPENS & Cie".
