Rattanakosin-stijl boeddha - Statue - Thailand (No reserve price)

Thai Buddhist statue in the Rattanakosin style, probably. The statue shows the Buddha in royal attire (Phra Song Khruang), seated in the meditative Dhyana mudra (both hands resting in the lap with the palms up) on an elevated, stepped decorative plinth. This specific style is characteristic of the art from the Rattanakosin Kingdom (Siam/Thailand). The statue was originally cast in bronze (or a similar copper alloy).
