San Pedro de Arbues was a canon of the Seo of Zaragoza where he was murdered in 1485. The Aragonese saint was beatified in 1664 and canonized in 1867.

The frame with flaws and damage is a gift. Canvas relined with damages.

This artwork, under the Spanish Historical Heritage Law, requires an export license from the Ministry of Culture to leave Spain. This process is free and can take about 4 weeks.
