Gorgeous midcentury designed side table made in solid pine wood and painted in a classic white colour.
Designed by the Dutch Gerrit Rietveld and produced by the popular designer brand HAY, from Denmark.
This model is called "Crate Table" and this is the low version.
*This table is brand new and comes assembled in original packaging, including manual.

The Crate Side Table was originally designed in 1934 by Dutch architect Gerrit Rietveld as part of his vision to repurpose surplus wood from shipping crates. Now, the iconic side table has been relaunched through a modern collaboration between Rietveld Originals and HAY. Its square design and additional storage shelf combine aesthetics and functionality in a single piece of furniture.

HAY is a Danish design company founded in 2002 by Mette and Rolf Hay with the mission to create accessible, high-quality, and functional furniture, lighting, and accessories. Gerrit Rietveld:

Gerrit began his journey in his father's carpentry workshop, but his vision quickly outgrew the era's traditional boundaries.
Rietveld proved that furniture and architecture should be dynamic, open, and free. By playing with intersecting planes, primary colors, and spatial lines, he gave his furniture a weightless, floating quality.

Beeing a trusted seller on Catawiki for almost 7 years. And with more than 10.000 successful sales. This is my full-time job and I don't sell anywhere else but here on Catawiki, and I don't have a physical store that takes my time, I put all my work and time here on Catawiki..
Many of my lamps are purchased leftovers from various stores and manufacturers, I prefer to buy lamps that have been retired from production and are soon sold out on the market.
