JUAN GRIS (José Victoriano González-Pérez) was one of the leading exponentsof Cubism, recognized by international critics as the most important artistic movement of the 20th century.
The works of Juan Gris, who developed his artistic research starting from Analytical Cubism to arrive, like Picasso and Braque, at Synthetic Cubism (of which Gris is one of the best interpreters), are characterized by a more rational and less emotional vision of the subject, which leads him to abandon the monochrome rendering of volumes in favor of a livelier and brighter palette.
His works are present in the major museums of the world.
